Across Europe, spaces for civil society are shrinking. Diversity is under threat. And the need for a new generation of empowered activists has never been greater. Living Diversity is a youth worker training program hosted in Bad Bevensen, Germany, bringing together educators and youth workers from Italy, North Macedonia, Poland, Romania and Germany to explore activism as a tool for diversity protection — through non-formal education, Place-Based Education (PBE), and the lived experience of our shared European values.
At the heart of this program are three transformative spaces:
The Safe Space — where every voice is heard, every identity is welcomed, and solidarity becomes more than a word. Because real change begins where people feel free to be themselves.
The Learning Space — where we deepen our understanding of democracy, civic disobedience, and collective action, equipping ourselves with the tools to challenge injustice and build alternatives.
The Activist Space — where we step beyond the individual and into the collective, turning awareness into action and values into movement.
We believe that solidarity is not optional — it is a principle. That civic disobedience is a legitimate and courageous expression of democratic participation. And that activism, rooted in diversity and driven by young people, is the force that keeps freedom alive.
Join us in Bad Bevensen to connect, learn, and act — for ongoing freedom, equality, and diversity in Europe!
