A Mystery Weekend …

Good communication is magic, but often we run into conflict situations; at work and in our private life. In this seminar we want to explore, in an enjoyable way, what strategies we can use to make our conflict situations more productive and less distressful. You will learn the main rules and tools of conflict management and practice uing these tools in role-play situations. The seminar is designed to be fun and will include many creative games, discussions, exercises and films. By the end, you will have created a new strategy for dealing better with conflict and handling the interpersonal challenges which you experience going forward in your life more effectively. If you understand this text, then your English is good enough to be in this seminar. We will be exploring this topic in a fun and eye-opening way.

If you haven’t had a chance to speak English in a while and you are feeling a bit nervous about speaking, then this is the course for you!
Come dust off (=entstaube) your English skills and have a chance to meet new people who feel the same way you do about speaking English.

In this course, we are not worried about perfect grammar, we are just happy if we understand what you mean – or if we can help you explain yourself.

It will feel easy because we will have interesting topics to keep your attention. And we won’t bore you with grammar exercises. Come and meet new people – and surprise yourself by how good your English actually is.

Sprache verstehen wir vor allem als ein Kommunikationsinstrument – nicht nur als ein Regelsystem. Und Sprache lernen soll Spaß machen, entspannen und Erfolgserlebnisse verschaffen. Ziel des Seminars ist es schnell, locker und effektiv die Basis für eine mündliche Kommunikationsfähigkeit im Englischen zu erwerben.

Wir ermutigen unsere Teilnehmer*innen während des Seminars nur Englisch zu sprechen.

Seminarbeginn: Freitag, 19.00 Uhr (davor Abendessen möglich)
Seminarende: Sonntag, 12.30 Uhr (danach Mittagessen möglich)

Seminarzeiten: 9.00 – 12.30 Uhr, 14.30 – 18.00 Uhr (Freitag 19.00 – 22.00 Uhr), 19.00 – 21.30 Uhr
