„Living democracy – approaches to strengthen respect and cohesion in Israel and Germany“, Part 1 in Germany

This seminar addresses youth leaders, out of school educators, teachers, students and other multipliers of youthwork in both countries. The focus will be on the question, how a peaceful living together in complex societies can be promoted with the help of pedagogical approaches, which are developed to strengthen democratic competencies and to raise an attitude of respect towards the other.

Participants should not only get to know these dialog-orientated concepts theoretically, but by experience and common reflection upon personal insights. More over the opportunity to learn from each other will be given by the presentation of good practice examples of projects dealing with different cultural groups, milieus, beliefs, lifestyles, etc…

The first part will be the seminar in Bad Bevensen and Berlin, the second part will be in Israel from 23rd till 30th October 2022.
