Social media seems to be everywhere! People ‘liking’ this and ‘sharing’ that, and ‘following’ some ‘influencer’. But what does it actually mean, and what do those words mean in the context of social media? In this course, we will take a look at the different social media platforms and learn the basics like how to: use it, create a profile, and even write clever captions.

If you haven’t had a chance to learn about social media yet, this course will open the door to a new world of getting information and news, following your favourite brands and artist, or keeping in touch with friends and family! Learn about the advantages (and disadvantages) of social media…in English!

This is a great opportunity to improve your vocabulary surrounding the digital world, and to learn how languages are changing thanks to digitalization and social media. This course will be completely in English, as well as outside of the classroom, so you get a chance to really dive into English.
